  1. Chairman (Mike Neal)

    1. It was agreed that Mike will arrange the purchase of trophies for all competitions including the new Plate Competition.

  1. Secretary (Andy Millington)

    1. Andy reported a great improvement in the scoresheet and assessment forms and has sent an e-mail to all teams thanking them for their efforts.

    1. All teams are asked, once again, to check that the correct postage is applied to correspondence sent to the Secretary as another letter has had to be collected due to insufficient postage.

    1. A letter has been received from Emir Battalogu, from Old Edwardians, apologising for his team’s failure to attend a match at Featherstone.

    1. Chase A v BC Bears.
Bears failed to field a full team and the match was awarded 20-0 minus 1 point.

    1. With reference to item 8.1 of the January Minutes, Andy has researched all teams with National League players as requested. Players with BC Bears, Wolves CC and Blazers have conformed with League rules. However, Kevin Weeks, Samuel Lynch, Steve Hansel and Mark Jones all from Aston As have failed to play three matches before Christmas and may no longer compete in this League this season.

    1. It was also discovered that two Aston A’s players, Kevin Weeks and Mark Jones participated in match WM156 v Shropshire Warriors on 8 Jan 09 and as a consequence the result was overturned 20-0 minus 1 point in favour of Warriors. No fine was deemed appropriate. Rule 6ciii refers.

    1. Aston A’s v David Lloyd (Rosebowl) – scoresheet not received within 7 days – fine £5. Rule 6bii.

  1. Appeals (Tony Johnson)

    1. All teams should note that trophies received last season should be returned to a Committee member by 1 March 09.

    1. Of the matches played up until 31 Dec 08, forty-nine failed to send in or complete correctly the assessment form. Please note – as of 1 Jan 09 a fine will be issued to teams who fail to comply with this request.

  1. Referees (Keith Kershaw)

4.2 Draft appointments should be sent out by 12th February.
