Does anybody agree with me that allowing players over the age of 40 to play for more than one team in a cup competion is rather generous?

For a variety of reasons I can accept that in the league this is a good idea but feel that it is a step too far in the cup competetions and once a player has played for one team they should be cup tied.
I'm interested to find out if other members have a similar view and if this is something for the committee to address in future seasons.
